Are my files private?

Your files can be public or private - You decide!

You can make files or folders private and even set an access password to protect them further.

How Synclyz us only green energy?

Our data centers, NEXTDC and THORDC, operate on green energy, ensuring sustainability. We also provide robust DDoS protection through the CDN77 network.

Can I share my photos and videos on social media?

Yes! You can share your media onto various social media sites.

Go into the file manager then click the file you wish to share, on the bottom of the page will be the various social media sites you can upload to. Choose the site and share away!

I'd like to start a free account. What do I need to know to get started?

Great!

All we require is your name and email address. We will then send you a confirmation email with the password. You can change the password at any time once you have logged in, simply by clicking your name and then account settings.

Once you have logged in you are ready to upload your files. Simple as that!

How do I add or upload files to my Synclyz?

It's really easy! Once logged in just click upload at the top of the page. Once the upload screen appears, you can either drag and drop or click the files you wish to upload from your device.

Can I share files or folders with free users if Im on a professional/business account?

Yes! If youre happy to share your files, then any one with a Synclyz account can see them too.

What type of files can I store or view on Synclyz?

You name it you can store it! From things like movies and photos to important documents and internet downloads.

How can I organise the files I've uploaded?

Just create a folder in the "New Folder" tab at the top of the page, name it for example "Photos" then upload or move all photos to that folder. You can also create as many folders as you like to help keep your account as organised as possible. Its as simple as that!

What's the difference between the Free and Paid account?

Storage space! The free account has 20GB of storage space whilst the Paid account has an 100GB/500GB/5TB storage space. Which is perfect for small to large businesses and corporations, Or even just the average user who doesn't want any restrictions on the amount they upload.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my account at any time?

Absolutely! If your in need of some extra storage just click the Extend Account on the top of your own Synclyz page. The account will be upgraded instantly from the moment you make the initial payment.

If however you wish to downgrade, simply follow the same instructions as above and you will be downgraded to the selected account from when your next payment was due. This means you will remain with the previous amount of storage space until the payment date.

Please note, once you have begun your new downgraded account you will be required to remove files to stay within the usage limit of the new account if necessary.

Can I upload files from my mobile?

Yes! Its as easy as uploading from your desktop. Just click on the file you wish to upload and
your good to go.

How it's 10x faster download speed?

Our file sharing system is powered by the robust BunnyCDN network, featuring 14 strategically located uncached servers. This setup significantly boosts your file download speeds, ensuring fast and efficient access worldwide.

How can I let others view my files?

You can let others view files simply by providing them with the link to that file. The link is located at the top of the page when you open up said file. No one else can see these files unless they have the link you provide them.

How long will my files stay on Synclyz?

As long as you are an active user, then your files will remain stored on Synclyz until you decide otherwise.

How do I add an avatar to my account?

To personalise your account, like adding an avatar, simply go onto account settings and choose the avatar you wish to upload.

Once I have uploaded my files to Synclyz, can I view/access them from other devices?

Of course! Synclyz allows you to access your files from anywhere at any time. all you need is an internet connection.

If I need to downgrade my account, will I lose my files?

Absolutely not! Your files are safe and secure on your account. However, if you wish to upload more files you will need to either upgrade your account or download the older files to be within the usage limit of the new account.

What do I do if Synclyz reports an error, wont launch, or is stuck uploading?

Don't worry! All you need to do is simply refresh the page then check to see if the file was uploaded. If not then retry uploading.

If the problem persists then feel free to submit a ticked or contact our support line. We will aim to resolve the issue within 24 hours.

I've just created a new account, When can i start uploading my files?

Straight away! As soon as you create a new account you will be directed to your own Synclyz page. Once your there, you can begin uploading.

How I get Seamless streaming?

Unlike most personal storage services, our system is designed for seamless streaming. We rigorously tested it to ensure faster streaming speeds than Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive. Our tests spanned over 150 locations, 200+ networks, and 385 devices, guaranteeing exceptional performance.

We have many ideas and plans for Synclyz in the future, currently we are working on something new and exciting. We will announce what's in store soon!

Will I be tied into a contract with subscription payments?

Absolutely not!

You are free to cancel your account at any time - Though we are sure you will not want to!

If you do decide to cancel, your account will revert to the Free Account limits when your next scheduled payment was suppose to be paid.

If i miss a payment on my Pro/Business account, will my files get deleted?

Absolutely not!

If the payment does not go through we will then try twice more. Failing this we will revert your account to a free account.

Your files will remain on your free account until we can resolve the payment issue.

If you wish to remain on the free account, you will be then required to remove files to stay within the free accounts usage limit.

Do I need to submit credit card information for a free account?

With us, free means free! Synclyz does not require any payment details or commitments.

Can I subscribe for more than one year and pay in advance?

Our current Synclyz plans are available in monthly and annual subscription periods. At this time we do not offer an option to purchase consecutive monthly or annual subscriptions up front.

If Synclyz increases its pricing plans, will that affect my current plan?

Nope! If we ever increase our pricing plans, all current users will remain on their agreed price when they first registered. The increased plans will only affect users who register after the new pricing infrastructure is implemented.

What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept payment via the following Credit & Debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We are currently working to accept Bitcoin payments - Stay tuned!

How do I cancel my paid subscription?

If you wish to cancel your active subscription, please visit the Subscription Cancellations area.

How can I keep track of my subscription information?

You can keep track of the subscription information such as account type and expiry date in the account edit page; syncsyz.com/account_edit.html. Once on this page just click "Finance" and the information will be made available.

How do I change my password?

You can change your password simply by clicking on the account settings tab at the top of the Synclyz page once you have logged in. Once you have done that, click update account and your good to go.

How do I remove a file or folder?

You can remove a folder simply by right clicking the folder and clicking delete. To remove the file, simply click the file you wish to delete and then click the delete button on the files page. Remember there is a trash can, so you can restore any files you may have deleted accidentally.

How do I make sure my Synclyz is secure?

You can protect your Synclyz by first choosing a secure password. Something not associated with you like name or DOB. Try using upper case letters and numbers in the password too.

You can also make sure all your files are password protected simply by right clicking the file or folder, edit, then create password. Also make sure the files are set to private and are not shared. This information will be in the file edit page when you right click the file.

Where is Synclyz located?

We’re always close to our customers’ hearts! Our headquarters are situated on the 18th floor of the DLF building in Glamorgan. We also manage fully operational data centers across 8 locations, all co-located for superior efficiency and reliability.

How do I permanently delete my account?

To permanently delete your account, submit a support ticket and we will delete the account within 24 hours. Please remember to remove any files as they will be permanently deleted.

Do Synclyz reply to DMCA objections?

Generally, we give you the freedom to make your own decisions about your internet activities, as long as they comply with our internet connection protocols. However, we strictly prohibit any involvement with the dark web, terrorism, child pornography, or viruses. Our moderators are vigilant in maintaining a safe environment.

Can I protect my folders?

Yes! simply by right clicking the chosen folder then clicking edit, you can delete, rename, give it a password or choose whether it's shared or private.

Why were my links removed?

Only in rare circumstances will we remove links. If you have a link removed it could be due to a number of reasons. One of them being a copyright infringement. If it is a copyright issue then we are legally obligated to remove that file/link. Another reason for a removed file is if the file has been reported or flagged for abuse, as referred to in out T&C's.
